A Celebration of Life for Nancy Sue Handy, 74 of Fairfield, will be from 11-4 P.M. Sunday, November 12 ^th at the Clubhouse at Rancho Solano 3250 Rancho Solano Pkwy in Fairfield.

Nancy passed away on the morning of Nov. 5 ^th . She was born in Oakland on Dec. 19, 1942 to George and Janet Hayes.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Nancy was an exceptional cook who also enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was a longtime receptionist working at the Del Monte Corp. in San Leandro and then Northbay Healthcare for over 30 years. She and her beloved husband, Gilbert also owned and operated Gunther's Foreign Auto Parts in Fairfield.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gilbert "Skip"; daughters, Kim Wink (Steve), Kerry Kline (John) and Kathleen Chanover (Michael); grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Haley, Troy, Andrew and Lily; sisters, Marilyn and Jacklyn. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen.
