It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Claire Smith, who left this world on April 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Nancy was born in Yakima, Washington on March 30th 1948 to Father Wesley Hugh Roettger and Mother Betty Mae Evans.

She worked as a housekeeper for over 22 years and enjoyed spending her free time sewing, crafting, painting, and baking.

Nancy is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Kevin Madore, and Jennifer and Keith Hedges. Grandchildren Sarah and James Madore, Hailey Brooks, Samantha Storms, Alexis and Aubrey Hedges. Great grandchildren Maya and Riley Brooks. As well as siblings Wesley Roettger, Cheryl Carson, and Michael Roettger.

Preceded in death by her sister Betty Lee Wages.

A Graveside Service to follow on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery; 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA.
