Obituary

Norman Alden Wells was called home to our Heavenly Father and passed away peacefully at his home in Pope Valley, CA on August 7th, 2017. He was born in Fairfield, CA on August 20th, 1940 to Clyde and Mildred Wells. Norman was the 6th of 6 children, 3 brothers, 2 sisters. Norman went to Hogan Jr High School and at the age of 17, he decided to enlist in the Army in 1957. He served his country in the Army, as a driver in the military. He was stationed in Enewetak Atoll from 1957-1959. Norman retired at the Veterans Home working food service after 20 years. Soon after, he started his own hauling service called Norm's Hauling, which he had for over 30 years. He retired his business in 2010.

Norman was a man of strong convictions and a generous spirit. He devoted his life to his family and to God.

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Wells, his devoted sons Nicholas Wells (Pope Valley) and Jared Wells, Laura Wells Daughter -in- law (Post Falls, his 4 beautiful grandchildren who he adored, Camren Wells, Noah Wells, Josiah Wells and Hannah Pobursky, his brothers George Wells, Clyde Wells, Harold Wells and sisters Mary Louise Thompson and Nadine Johnson ( who passed away May 2017). Norman loved to sing, make friends wherever he went. He loved to share and spread the good news about Christ. He was a strong man, who was a good provider, dependable, nurturing, loved to work on home improvement projects and enjoyed devoting time to study God's Word. Norman we will miss your smile and your love.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Sunday August 27th along with a military service following a reception at Angwin Village Church at 3:00pm. Address is 412 Circle St, Angwin CA 94508
