Mrs. Gabriel was born on Dec. 17, 1921, in Laoag City, Philippines to Bruno Ignacio and Teresa Gerardo. She worked for 40 years as a teacher in the Philippines.

She had been a resident of Fairfield and Vacaville for 36 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Pacita enjoyed going to casinos to try her luck at the slots.

Mrs. Gabriel is a widower of Wenceslao V Gabriel and is survived by her daughter Evelyn Gabriel Herrera of Fairfield, son Marcial I Gabriel and his wife, Maria Luisa of Vacaville, a sister, Rosita Ignacio Juan of Philippines, two grandchildren Wesley G Herrera and Warren G Herrera, great grandchildren Tevin Herrera and Alyssa Herrera and a host of extended family and close friends.
