Patricia "Paty"
Falkenstein
May 5, 1952 — Jul 23, 2026
In Loving Memory of
Patricia "Paty" Falkenstein
May 5, 1952 – July 23, 2026
Patricia "Paty" Falkenstein, loving wife, mother, Abue, sister, teacher, and friend, entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, generosity, and unconditional love that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
Paty was born on May 5, 1952, in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, the youngest of five siblings: Jesús, Lolis, Amparo ("Cha Cha"), and Maly. From an early age, she was known for her joyful spirit, warm smile, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.
In 1977, she married the love of her life, Tim Falkenstein, and together they built a beautiful life in Northern California centered on faith, family, and community. They raised three children—Paul, Aileen, and Lianna—who were the greatest joy of her life. Paty proudly shared her Mexican heritage with her family, teaching her children Spanish and ensuring they remained connected to their culture through lifelong relationships and cherished trips to Mexico.
Paty found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved walking, dancing, attending church, traveling to Mexico, gathering with family and friends, shopping, and cheering on her children at their sporting events.
For 35 years, Paty devoted her life to education, teaching preschool, kindergarten, and English as a Second Language. Her patience, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of countless students and their families.
Retirement allowed Paty and Tim to spend even more time with family and friends, celebrating life's special moments and creating treasured memories together. In 2019, Paty was diagnosed with dementia. She faced the disease with remarkable grace and courage, surrounded by the unwavering love and support of her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
Paty is survived by her devoted husband, Tim; her children, Paul, Aileen, and Lianna; and her cherished grandchildren, Mia, Neelia, and Kellen, who lovingly called her "Abue." She also leaves behind her beloved siblings, extended family, and many lifelong friends.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Paty is now at peace in the loving presence of our Lord. Her faith, strength, compassion, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
"El amor nunca termina. Vivirás por siempre en nuestros corazones. Descanse en paz."
