Patricio "Pat" Juego Antiporda, Sr., age 84 years old, died peacefully on January 17, 2022.

He was born in Tayug, Pangasinan on May 15, 1937. He was the only son and the youngest of 7 children.

He spent his primary school in Tayug Elementary and went to high school in Luna Colleges. Pat received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Mindanao State University.

He met Priscilla while studying at Mindanao State University.  They got married after graduating in college.

After the birth of their firstborn son, he and Priscilla, left Mindanao and returned to Tayug to start their own family. He worked as a teacher at Tayug National High School.  He was also the Head of the Agriculture Department and Commandant of the Citizens Army Training (CAT).

He also served as a First Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

In 1993, he retired and he and Priscilla emigrated from Philippines to California.  He worked at the State of California, Department of Correction and Rehabilitation for 17 years.

Pat's talents were many.  He played basketball and tennis. He loved to dance and sing.  As an agriculturist, he enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.  He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, community volunteer, and friend who loved to entertain people with his jokes, singing, and dancings.

He was very prayerful and showed his love through service.

Preceded in death by his parents, Isidoro and Juanita Antiporda; his five sisters, Caridad Antiporda Tiu, Marina Antiporda, Elena Antiporda Dioquino, Engracia Antiporda Alcanices, and Concepcion Antiporda Lim; and his daughter, Lisa Perez.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Priscilla Agpaoa Antiporda; son Patricio Antiporda, Jr. and his wife Imelda; daughter, Phoebe Antiporda Fernandez and husband Don; son Hernando Antiporda and wife Violeta. He is also survived by his sister, Lydia Antiporda Lim.

He is survived by his nine grandchildren: Kristoffer Antiporda Fernandez and his wife Grace, Kristine Camille Antiporda Fernandez, Maria Pamela Antiporda Baumann and her husband Donovan, Patricio Antiporda, III, Maria Christina Antiporda, John Lemuell Perez, Johanna Charis Perez, John Joseph Perez, and John Patrick Perez; and his three great grandchildren – Zara Grace Madarang Fernandez, Isaiah Grayson Madarang Fernandez, and Damian Chadren Antiporda Perez.
