Peggy Little Zack passed away peacefully on September 22.  Peggy was born October 3, 1930 in Brawley, California to Calvin and Zella Little. She and her twin brother, Pat, were the youngest of six Children.  Her father passed away when she was just a baby and was raised by her mother and eldest sister Jane.

Peggy grew up in Riverside, CA and attended Riverside Poly High School, was a cheerleader and graduated in 1947.  She married her husband, Rolyn James (Jim) Zack on June 7, 1952 and was happily married until Jim passed away in August of 2015.   Preceded in death by four of her siblings Peggy leaves behind her brother, Paul Little, Sister-in-law ,Phylis Zack; four surviving children Susan Zack, Ken Zack (Carol), Randy Zack (Jan) and Diane Zack Smith(Mike) and seven Grandchildren (Ryan Zack, Karen Zack, Katie Smith, Morgan Zack, Kelly Smith, Carrie Smith and Kendall Zack).

Peggy met Jim while engaged to another.  They were married after 3 dates, spread over multiple months.  It was a good thing Peggy liked to travel, with Jim being in construction, they were constantly moving within the first years of their marriage, including Fallon Nevada, Boron, Merced, Culver City, Apple Valley, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach, California, until finally living an extended time in Arcadia California.  They again moved to Moraga, California and Conrad, Montana before returning to Arcadia and retiring in Upland, California.  They most recently moved to Vacaville, California to be closer to their daughter and three of their grandchildren.

Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She was happy staying home to raise her family and was also a very committed volunteer, being a lifelong member to the Assistance League in Arcadia California and most recently was a volunteer at the NorthBay Guild here in Fairfield/Vacaville.

Peggy was so spunky and full of life.  She rarely sat still and enjoyed spending her days doing anything, but nothing; most recently going 4 wheeling in the mountains of Idaho.  She loved to dance, drink wine, laugh and spend time with family and friends.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at Orchard Avenue Baptist Church, 301 N Orchard Ave, Vacaville, CA 95688 on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow.
