Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Peter V. Torres passed away at his home in Vacaville on Monday, June 5th, 2023, at the age of 80.

Peter was born on June 30, 1942, in Southern California to his parents, Leonardo Torres & Consuelo Sanchez. He moved to Northern California during his early childhood years. He graduated from Armijo High School (Fairfield, CA) in 1963 and has lived in Vacaville California since the 1970's.

Peter was a loving & devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved to golf. He enjoyed camping at Lake Camanche and loved to listen to music. He worked over 50 years in the auto body industry.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Torres and two children, Evelyn Torres & Peter Torres Jr (Claudia). He leaves behind six grandchildren, Victoria Robinson (Daniel), Thomas Staples II (Jade), Steven Staples (Brittney), Peter Torres III, Alyssa Torres, and Joseph Torres. He also leaves behind seven great grandchildren Dani, Presley, Aubrey, Thomas III, Layla, Aniyah, Gray and four siblings Delores Cruz, Richard Torres, Tony Torres and Jesse Real. He is preceded in death by his father Leonardo Torres & Mother Consuelo Sanchez, sister Mary-Ellen Almendarez, brother Frank Torres, brother Charlie Torres, brother Leonard Torres and brother Jesse Torres.

All are invited to attend Peter's memorial service on Friday, July 21st at Vaca Hills Chapel, 5:30pm.
