Philicia Anne Needham, 68, of Vacaville, passed away at UCSF Parnassus CVICU on July 29, 2022, due to complications following triple bypass surgery.

Philicia was born in Ft Levenworth, Kansas on April 25, 1954.  She was the third child (only daughter) born to Thomas and Valere Wyatt.  Being an "army brat," Philicia had the opportunity to live in many places throughout her life, including Carmel during her high school years.  On April 2, 1971 she married Michael Needham, an electronics technician in the US Coast Guard.  Now as a "military wife" she lived in many places raising 3 children, and many others who were always at her house.  While stationed in the San Francisco area they lived on Naval Station Treasure Island where she was very active in the Navy Wives Club. Her other favorite place to be stationed was Governor Island New York where we had a spectacular view of Liberty Island and Manhattan from our living room windows. After Michael retired from the Coast Guard, they spent most their time living in Vacaville where they raised their children.

Philicia was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She is survived by 2 Brothers Michael & Sean, her husband Mike of 51 years, her children, Jennipher Baggett (Bruce), Heather Anderson (Brett), Sean, and Elizabeth Bevenour (daughter of her heart) and her 13 grandchildren Rachel, Devin, Nychelle, Becca, Charley, Michael, Alexandra, Jaedon, Mady, Emma, Mackynzie, Emily and Noah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Valere Wyatt.

Philicia was generous and kind, always willing to help someone in need. Over the years she worked or volunteered with several organizations that were important to her family. She also spent years while her kids were teenagers, taking care of all their friends when they needed it. She was always there with snacks, hugs, and a shoulder to cry on. Many of those kids still remember her with fondness. While her body may be gone her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be missed.

She will be interned at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California until Michael joins her there.
