On Tuesday February 20, 2024, Phylistell White, loving wife and mother of six children, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at age 90, in Fairfield, California.

Phylistell was born on August 8, 1933, in San Francisco, California. She graduated with a degree in education from Lone Mountain Catholic University in San Francisco, California and was a beloved kindergarten teacher for more than 30 years. Phylistell met the love of her life Martin White and they married in 1956.They were married for 50 years before his passing in 2006.

Phylistell had a love of quilting, knitting, and other artistic endeavors.  She had a love of theater and could always be found reading a good mystery. She also had an affinity for the ocean and loved to walk on the beach. More than anything Phylistell loved to spend time with her family and she will be remembered most for her kindness, caring, patience, and strength by showing us all how it felt to be loved unconditionally despite our flaws.  This will be the gift that everyone close to her will carry forever.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry & Dianne White, Jennifer & Tony Pirondini, Walter & Amy White, Valerie & Tom Long, her sister Carolyn Caswell, her brother and his wife Bill & Barbara Farrenkopf, her grandchildren, Matt, Mike, Ken, Tina, Andrew, Nick, Jackson, Joshua, Daniel, Sofia, her great grandchildren, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Rebecca, as well as several nieces and nephews.
