It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of our beloved Phyllis Debra Vargas. She departed from this world on December 30, 2023, at the age of 64. Phyllis was born on April 28,1959, in San Jose, California, to the late Justin and Evelyn LoFranco.

Phyllis embraced the honorable role of a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to the care and nurturing of her family. Her love knew no bounds, and her loyalty was unwavering.

Phyllis found tranquility in the simplicity of life's blessings. Casting her line into the serene waters off Grizzly Island, she found joy in fishing, cherishing the moments of peace and reflection. Additionally, she delighted in supporting her beloved San Francisco 49ers, finding camaraderie and excitement in the world of sports.

Phyllis leaves behind a cherished legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Christopher, who were the pride and joy of her heart. She treasured every moment spent with them.

Phyllis is also survived by her beloved Abelardo, dear sisters, Mary and Wayne Paigly, Evelyn Rubio, Lena Stell, Tina Barrick, Peggy Gardner, her brother Dominick LoFranco, and her adored grandchildren, Jesse, Colton, Evelena, Conway, Sophia, and Isabella.

Phyllis now finds eternal rest, joining her parents, Justin and Evelyn LoFranco, and her siblings, Dora Moe, Linda Coronado, and John LoFranco, who preceded her in death.

To honor Phyllis' memory, a Celebration of Life will be held in the coming weeks so that we all can celebrate her wonderful life.

Phyllis will be remembered for her unwavering love, kind spirit, and her tireless dedication to her family. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she find eternal peace in the loving embrace of the divine.
