Posu "T" Auina Tiapula, 74, of Sacramento CA, was called home by our Heavenly Father on 01/02/2025. He was born on 11/09/1950 to parents Auina Piula Tiapula (Alao, American Samoa) and Magalita Vaesau (Sailele, American Samoa). He served 8 years in the Airforce and was honorably discharged. After being discharged, he continued to work for the Federal Government as a civilian at McClellan Airforce Base until July of 2001 when the base was officially closed. He then worked as a Steel Structural Painter for the state of CA for over 15 years before retiring.

Posu is survived by his wife Elinor Cleve, his daughter Selestina Zorn-Tiapula, his siblings, Alfred, Kenny, Katerina "Kasi", Mahe, Magdalene "Mekeligi", Tupou, Haisini, Meleseini, Afa Jr, John "JJ", Lorrine "Ligi", and Siuea, his 2 grandchildren, Melemae and Micah and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents and his siblings Auina Jr, Malotumau, Ise, Cynthia and Fili.
