Rachel Truesdell, 53, of Dixon, CA, was called home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2023. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and beloved member of her community.

Born on December 28, 1969, in Redwood City, CA, Rachel was the daughter of Phil Moulder and Robin Walther. She attended Bangor School and Las Plumas High School before graduating from California State University Sacramento. Rachel was a dedicated educator and held various positions throughout her career, including as a teacher at Robert Semple Elementary School in Benicia, CA, a Children's Director at Faith Community Church of Vacaville, a home-school teacher for her children, and a Guidance Counselor at Woodland Christian High School.

Rachel's relationship with the Lord was at the center of her life, and she was an inspiration to those around her. She was known for her generous heart, infectious smile, and love of family. Rachel cherished spending time with her loved ones, being outdoors, and exploring new places when she had the opportunity.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 31 years, David Truesdell, her two children, Josh Truesdell and Grace Freeburg, her parents, her sister Rebecca Hegemier, and stepfather Tom Walther. A ceremony to honor her life will be held at The Mission located at 6391 Leisure Town Rd in Vacaville, CA on June 3, 2023, at 12 pm. Rachel will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
