Randy Robert Wright, an artist like no other, passed away on May 26, 2022, in Oakland, CA.

Randy was born on September 21, 1989, in Martinez, CA and attended Alhambra High School. He immediately enlisted in the Navy following his high school graduation, serving his country from January 2008 through December 2011. Randy valued this service highly and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Navy & Marine Corp Achievement Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon before being honorably discharged in 2011.

In addition to Randy's service to his country, he followed his passion as an artist who could tell just about any story in his works of art.  He mostly focused on the eyes of the person he depicted.  You could not see a "Randy Piece" and not feel the emotion he invested into it.

Randy is survived by his mother Shelly L. Murray, stepfather Richie Murray and his brothers Michael Wright and Anthony Aires.

A service honoring the life of Randy will be held at Vaca Hills Chapel, located at 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA 95687 on June 16, 2022, at 10am.  Following the service, Randy will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery located at 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620 at 12:30pm. His family would be honored by your presence as they send off their son and brother with military honors, as their hero deserved.
