Obituary

Renee Aubert Lang-Henley passed away peacefully March 8, 2026, surrounded by loved ones from complications from pancreatic cancer.

Renee was born May 25,1958 to Edward Aubert and Rita Drury-Micjenka in Oakland CA.

The family moved to Vacaville in 1968. Renee attended Edwin Markham, Willis Jepson and Vacaville High schools, graduating in 1976.

Renee worked 35 years for Basic Vegetable Products/Basic American Foods, then for Meyer Corporation and most recently Mariani Packing Company.  She was an extremely loyal employee who took great pride in her work.

In years past Renee was very involved in Solano County Library's Literacy program, Toastmasters, St. Joseph Church and Notre Dame school activities where her children attended.  Renee was very generous in giving her time and received a great deal of enjoyment in supporting others.

Renee loved to have fun, especially with her children. She loved playing games, especially Wii bowling, cards and dominoes. Sewing was a hobby she loved, especially making clothes for her grandchildren.

Renee was a very dedicated caregiver for 12 years to her husband and to her uncle, David Drury.

Renee is predeceased by her parents, sisters, Debbie Bailey and Suzanne Aubert-Harding and brother Eddie Aubert.

She is survived by her husband, JR Henley, the loves of her life, her children, Eddie Lang (Lizzie) and Morgan Lang (Rick) along with her grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Patti Connolly and Christine Downs, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Renee was a very empathic person who was always willing to assist where needed and to encourage others.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Vacaville Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club.

Renee would like you to be kind, empathetic and remember that you never know the journey someone is travelling on.

We love you and will miss you Mommy.
