It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, brother and friend. Rick was born in San Leandro, California and grew up in Vacaville, California. He graduated from Vacaville High School in 1982.

He worked as a retail clerk for Lucky's for 26 years and was enjoying his retired life hunting, fishing, and working on his classic car. Rick never knew a stranger and was always there whenever somebody needed a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife of 28years, Laura, daughters Kayce Roberts (Jeremy) and Kelleigh Pride (Joe). He was the best Pop to his four grandchildren: Mason, JP, Maggie-Ann and Clara. He also leaves behind his step-mother JoAnne Poole, brothers Glenn Poole and Ron Poole (Joi), sisters Cindy Calton(Jerry) and Lori Eastment (Jim) and an uncle, Merle Poole.

He was preceded in death by his father Clif Poole, mother Joyce Francis, and brother Frank Poole.

A graveside service will be held on Monday July 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vacaville Elmira Cemetery and everybody is welcome.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
