Robert G. Beach
March 12, 1930- August 2, 2026

Robert G. Beach passed away on the morning of August 2, 2026 at Magnolia Court Assisted Living in Vacaville. He was born on March 12, 1930 to Eldridge (Bud) and Ethel Beach.

Bob was preceded in death by his devoted wife Elaine. They had been married for 65 years before she passed in March of 2021. They were inseparable, and he took care of her for many years as she suffered with dementia. He would lovingly call her "Luke", the name of one of their past dogs. He is survived by his daughter Lori Albertson and husband George, his son Robert Beach Jr. and wife Jocelyn. Also, two grandchildren Evan Albertson and Tara Albertson. He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth (Bill) Padfield and nephew Billy Padfield. He is survived by a nephew Danny Padfield and niece Sally Padfield.

Bob served in the Airforce in the Korean war from 1951 to 1954 stationed in Knoxville, TN in the 516 Material Squadron, earning 3 medals. He had a dry sense of humor and you were lucky if you caught him in a smile. He had a good memory and decided on his 90th birthday to give up driving. A couple years ago he was able to get a motorized mobility scooter which gave him much freedom to easily move around the halls of Magnolia court. He would honk at staff and residents who got in his way.

When younger, Bob enjoyed working on cars, camping, fishing, and cooking. Bob and Elaine enjoyed spending time at their vacation home in Drytown in Amador County which started out as a plot of land and a trailer. He handled much of the work building the house on his own. Bob outlived most of his friends but will be deeply missed by his family.

Bob will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
