Roger Cortes Hernandez was born in Tahal, Almeria, España on February 18th, 1942. Son of Juan Morales Hernandez and Rosa Cortes Hernandez. He moved to the USA at the age of 15 and graduated from Vacaville High School in 1961. Married Martirio Molina at the age of 25 with whom he spent 53 years. He retired from The Carpenters Union with over 25 years of service.

Roger was a very dedicated and giving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He passed away at his home on 4/28/2023 surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is survived by his daughters, Rose Hernandez (Rochell Johnson) Isabel Hernandez-Hill (Curtis Hill) and Jennifer Hernandez. Grandchildren, Jesse Beard, Ashley Garner, Micah King, Donte Turk and Sophia Hill. Great grandchildren, Wyatt, Luke and Charlotte Garner, Lyric and Ariella Turk and soon to arrive Baylor Beard. Roger is proceeded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings Isabel Hernandez-Serna  and Johnny Hernandez. In-laws, Isabel and Francisco Molina, Isabel and Javier Cintas, Paco Molina and Joe Serna.

Services will be held at Vaca Hills Chapel on May 30th at 11:00 A.M. Private internment for immediate family to follow.
