Roland Keith Decker, age 69, passed away on April 17, 2020. He was born on November 11, 1950 to Laverne and Harold Decker and raised in Richmond California.

Roland served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He retired from Chevron as the Hydro Maintenance Supervisor, where he worked from June 1974-April 2006. After retiring, Roland returned to work in the refinery as a Capital Projects contract employee from 2006 – 2020.

His greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tammie Decker; son Chad Decker and wife Stephanie; daughter Valerie Decker and wife Amanda; daughter April Decker, fourteen grandchildren that he adored; Hannah, Jordan, Ellie, Zachary, Emmy, Bella, Austin, Bayley, Liam, Logan, Jaxson, Kinslie, Alani and Grayson. Also survived by his brother Dennis Decker, sister in law Nancy, nephews Andrew (wife Angelica), and Ben (wife Brook); sisters Debbie Hill and Dayle Moore.

Roland loved spending time with his family, especially on the beach in Hawaii.
He loved History and long drives up the coast with his loving wife.
