Ronald Roedell
Rath
Jul 25, 1936 — Dec 7, 2020
Vacaville
Ronald Roedelle Rath, 84 of Vacaville California passed away of natural causes in the comfort of his home.
Ronald was born on July 25, 1936 in Altoona Pennsylvania, the son of Leo Archibald Rath and Leona Cynthia Sager. Ronald graduated with his Bachelor's Degree at Penn State University and went on to join the United States Airforce where he flew missions all over the world. He loved traveling the world but his favorite place was Paris, France where he visited the MOMA Art Museum and walked down the Shanzelize.
Before he settled down and married his wife Katerina, Ronald took some time and traveled through California and along the coast on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He even slept underneath the stars.
Ronald had an adventurous life. He accomplished and experienced more in his early life than most of us have in our lifetime.
He was a loving and supportive partner to his wife Katerina, as well as an amazing father to his daughter's Ruby, Raquel and his son Ron Jr.
One of Ronald's biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had always wanted children and considered himself lucky enough to have three. His children, Ron Jr, Ruby and Raquel, viewed their dad as the greatest dad in the world, and even as adults see him that way. Life was never easy, but he was always there for his family through their ups and downs and taught them the true value of family, strength and what it means to be a man and father. He was a traditional father who taught his kids valuable life lessons that they will carry for generations.
Ronald is survived by his wife Katerina, his son Ron Jr. and his wife Joanna Martin, his daughter Ruby and her husband Aaron Allen, as well as seven grandchildren Alizay, Amaya, Alina, Alana, Armani, Siron and Manaia.
