Rosana Garcia, age 92, a resident of Vacaville, CA passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 in her home.

She was born October 13, 1929 in Ojo Feliz, NM and was the daughter of the late Juan Antonio and Maria Edonilia Cruz.

She was united in marriage to Jesse Garcia on June 25, 1949 at St. Gertrude Church in Mora, NM.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters Emilia Duran and Vedelia Valdez, and brother Leo Cruz.

She is survived by two sons:  Alberto Garcia and wife Valerie of Eagle Point, OR, Daniel Garcia and wife Linda of Spokane, WA; two daughters: Yolanda Martinez and husband Joseph of Vacaville, CA, and Patricia (Keka) Chavez and husband Ricky of Vacaville, CA; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers:  Jose T. Cruz and wife Levinia of Rodeo, CA, John Cruz and wife Cecilia of Windsor, CO, and Manuel Cruz and wife Margaret of Westminster, CO; one sister Della Olivas and husband Baltazar of Cleveland, NM. Also surviving Mrs. Garcia are numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing and rosary services will be conducted on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Vaca Hills Chapel, at 524 Elmira Rd., Vacaville, CA.  Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 350 Stinson Ave., Vacaville, CA with Father Steven Wood as celebrant, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, at 522 Elmira Rd., Vacaville, CA, with the following serving as pallbearers Jason Garcia, Jerry Garcia, Reyes Garcia, Joseph A. Martinez, James Dowton, and Gilbert Orozco.  Reception will follow at Pietro's #2, at 679 Merchant St., Vacaville, CA.
