A Celebration of Life for Rose Schmid, 89 of Vacaville, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 30 ^th , 2022 at Faith Community Church 192 Bella Vista Road in Vacaville.

Rose passed away peacefully on the morning of July 16, 2022. She was born in Salinas, CA on October 29, 1932 to the George and Eleanor Ginepro. She graduated from Mountain View High School in 1950. Rose was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by daughter Kathleen Allio (Joseph) and Lena Stell (daughter by heart); grandchildren, Rose Hernandez, Janice McDonald, Anthony Allio(Mandy), Kelly Wieder (Kyle) Kerri Allio (Morgan) Amy Bogardus (Dalton), Marlena DeSilva (A.D.); Great-grands: Jessica Thorison, Jodi Thorison, Jada Thorison, Sedona Rae Fedotenko, Joseph "Joey" Wieder, Wally Wieder, Owen Wieder, Emma Allio, Felix Bogardus; Great, great-grands: Leah Thorison, Nova Mae Thorison, Adelina DeSilva.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis W. Porter,

Husband, Al Schmid, sons, Frank Pompi and Ronald Porter; granddaughters, Caitlin Rose Allio and Anne Marie Allio; parents George and Eleanor Ginepro; siblings Georgia (Don), Sandra (Harold), Emilio and Ugo.
