Shirley Hansen Bartolo

August 5, 1936 – September 18, 2021

Shirley Hansen Bartolo of Vacaville, California, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born August 5, 1936 in Albany, California, the daughter of Rose and Harry Hansen.

Shirley grew up in El Cerrito, California attending Fairmont Elementary, El Cerrito High School and Armstrong College.

She worked for Pacific Bell in San Francisco for 35 years as an executive secretary. She belonged to many social clubs; Forget Me Nots, Galileo and Fratellanza Club.

Shirley loved life. She loved to travel, beautiful flowers, keeping a beautiful home and loved being with her family and friends.

She is survived by brother, Harry Hansen Jr.; sister, Arlene Christie; nieces, Anita, Debbie and Susan; nephews, Joey, David, Jack, Kenny and Ticker; numerous great nieces and nephews; stepdaughters, Lynell, Janelle, Beth and Tina; granddaughter, Stephanie and 2 great grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Bartolo; parents, Rose and Harry Hansen; sister, Betty Gleadall and niece Cara Hansen.

She will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed.

The family is having a private service. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in San Pablo, California.
