Shirley Dyer-Junkin, age 93 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 9 in Vacaville, CA.  She was born in 1925 in Denver, CO to Fredrick and Ada Spencer.

Shirley worked as a waitress and cook while also raising her seven children and many foster children.  She loved to cook and bake and passed that love onto anyone who wanted to learn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lee and Fred, her husband Russ Dyer and husband Jack Junkin, and her daughter Renee Benzaim.

She is survived by her children Barry Dyer, Dawn Eisentrager, Lorraine Akin, Dorcee Rechtfertig, Vanery Dyer and Spencer Dyer.  As well as 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 3 at 11am at Valley Church 5063 Maple Rd, Vacaville.
