Sonja Gale Lane (80) passed away peacefully during the morning of September 17 ^th , following her recent battle against colon cancer.  She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, neighbor and "big-hearted friend" to everyone.

Born in Alton Illinois, Sonja moved to the bay area as a child.  She married her life-time love & husband of 60+ years (Larry) while working as a quality control supervisor for Levi Strauss & Company.  She then left her career and devoted herself to raising their adopted and beloved daughter (Laura) in 1966.

In 1970, the family purchased a small barren plot of land in North Vacaville, and over the decades - Sonja transformed her property into a beautiful little ranch, filled with family, wonderful animals and loving friends.  Her legacy continues on – and she will be greatly missed by all.
