Stephen Asher Pay

September 12, 1949 – January 11, 2022

Stephen Asher Pay, 72 of Vacaville, passed away on January 11, 2022 at Stanford Medical Center with his beloved wife, Margaret, at his side. He was born on September 12, 1949 in South Dakota to William Pay and Janice Shaw (Pay) Menholt.  He attended the University of South Dakota.  He moved to California in the early 70s and worked for many years in the credit union business.  He enjoyed watching the San Francisco Giants and 49ers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son Cameron Pay (Jessica) and granddaughter, Mia Harper Pay.  He is also survived by his father, William; brother Jeffrey Pay (Rachel) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sister Lori Watson of Belgrade, Montana, niece Lyndsey Pay and nephews Jonathan Pay and Britt Watson

A Funeral Service for Stephen will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 with a visitation prior to service to start at Noon at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville. Burial will be private at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
