Obituary

Steven Lisle Pratt passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2025 at the age of 58.

Our family was not expecting for Steve's life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss and he will be forever missed. He was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, a big smile for everyone he met and was always a joy to be around.

Being born in San Diego and passing away in his sleep in Napa, California; Steve's love for adventure took him across the globe. A PADI Dive Master, he taught hundreds of people scuba diving and was proud of his accomplishment of having over 3,000 ocean dives under his dive belt.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Margaret Stent, who he was grateful to have spent time with before their passings.

Steve will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken Mom, Ann Marie Lough, his reunited father, Richard Hamm Pratt; his artistic and creative daughter, Caille Pratt; and his life partner of 5+ years Dorothy Morgan, who he affectionately called his Meu Amor. Also including his younger sisters; Christina Marie Pratt, Jennifer Anne Lovoi, and Nicole Rene' Barlow, who are all missing their older brother. And a very long list of deeply-saddened Aunt's, Uncle, Cousins, Step-Siblings, and extended family.

He was also greatly loved and will be greatly missed by the many friends he'd made throughout his life; from his classmates in childhood, his missionary work as a young adult, coworkers at Nintendo, his insurance colleagues & clients, and those recently in the Napa & Sonoma Wine Valley where Steve was starting his passion for wine, food, cars and hospitality.

In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to the UC Davis School of Medicine, Kidney Unit in Sacramento in Steve Pratt's honor. As a two time survivor of kidney transplants, we were extremely fortunate that he was able to extend his life by brave donors.
