Dory passed peacefully from this life at 11:20 A.M on August 21, 2021, after a lingering sickness of cancer. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life.

Dory was born in the Philippines and settled with Jaime, her husband in the province of Vigan Ilocos Sur in their early years of marriage. She was a teacher for 25 years. When they moved to Hawaii and then the Bay Area in California, they resided together with family members and then with their daughter and son-in-law and their three children.

Dory is survived by her beloved husband Jamie Sr.;

5 children:

Randy and Mila Rapanut and their children Christian and Raji,

Jaime Jr. and Joy Rapanut and their children Jharem, Jharon, Alyssa and Alieya,

Sheila and James Craig and their children Richard James, Matthew and Sophia Margarette.

Elizabeth and Conrado Ganutan and their children Kevin, Adrian, and Jackie.

Chona- Anne and James Meas and their children Raelynne, Arlene and Mia.

She is also survived by her sister, Belen.

Dory was preceded in death by her brother, Sergio and sister, Erlyn.

There will be a viewing for Dory on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 4-8 P.M. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville followed by a funeral service at Vaca Hills Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11:30 A.M.

She will be laid to rest at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
