Umberto (Jack) DeLorenzi

Umberto (Jack) DeLorenzi, 90, passed away on October 8, 2025 in Vacaville California.

Son of Leonardo and Josephina, he was born on December 16, 1934 in Tripoli, Libya. He spent his childhood and teen years in Italy and moved to St. Louis, MO in 1956. Jack worked at the Anheuser Busch brewery for 24 years both in St. Louis, MO and Fairfield, CA. The family moved to California in 1976.

Jack was blessed with a large and loving family. He met the love of his life, Anne shortly after he moved to St. Louis and celebrated 67 years of marriage in September. They were fortunate to have three children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jack loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, participating in many tournaments. He was known for his playful character which came out on the dance floor, soccer field and in his storytelling. He enjoyed cruising with Anne and their friends and traveled to many destinations. In later years, Jack never missed watching the A's, his favorite baseball team and loved playing games and dominoes with his kids and grandkids.

Jack is survived by his wife, Anne; his son Bob DeLorenzi (wife Jenny); daughter Diane Becker (husband Chris); daughter Cindy Bollini (husband Rich); grandchildren Rob, Amy, Ricci, Jane, Will, Anna, Sam; and great-grandchild Weston.

The family would like to thank the many wonderful caregivers who supported and helped Jack (and Anne).

A Visitation will be held for Umberto DeLorenzi on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home; 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, California.

A Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home; 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, California.

A Graveside Service to immediately follow the Catholic Prayer Service on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Vacaville Elmira Cemetery; 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville, Californ
